   Designed by Palmer C. Putman of the "Office of Scientific Research and Development".  Manufactured by Studebaker Corporation of South Bend, Indiana.  Designated by the Army as the Cargo Carrier, Light T-15, subsequently modified as the T-24 and a third late war version the M-29.

   The Weasel could have flotation tanks added to the side and it could easily traverse inclines of up to 45 degrees.  It weight 4,077 lb., measured 10'5" long by 6"6" wide, with the canvas top it stood 6' and it seated 4.  top speed was 36mph, range 175 miles, there were 600 made.
