TABLE OF ORGANIZATION AND EQUIPMENT

 

 

The Table of Organization and Equipment will be based on the By-Laws of the Force and the following books:

 

 

The Supercommandos, First Special Service Force, 1942-1944, An Illustrated History, By Todd Ross, Schiffer Military History, ISBN: 0-7643-1171-9, This book is required and must be purchased by each member.

 

 

The First Special Service Force, A War History of “The North, Americans 1942-1944”, Lieutenant Colonel Robert D. Burhans, The Battery Press, Nashville, U.S.A., ISBN:  0-89839-261-6

 

 

U.S. Army Rangers & Special Forces, Of World War II, By Todd Ross, Schiffer Military History, ISBN: 0-7643-1682-6

 

 

Army Service Forces Catalog, Government Issue, U.S. Army European Theater of Operations Collector’s Guide, By Henri-Paul Enjames, Histoire & Collections, ISBN: 2-913903-87-8

 

 

Individual Gear and Personal Items of the G.I. in Europe, 1942-1945, “From ‘Pro-Kits” to “Pin-ups”! By James B. Klokner, Schiffer Military History, ISBN: 0-7643-2160-9

 

 

FM 21-100, Basic field manual, Soldiers Handbook, any edition 1941-1944

 

 

The above list is required reading for the Force 6-3, established members will help all new recruits, whither seasoned re-enactors our those that are new to the hobby with all research and equipment and uniform requirements.   All new members will be given 100% guidance on Uniforms and Equipment as needed.  The Supercommandos book is the Bible by which we operate, you must purchase it!
